How this whole thing began...

As a mom who has fallen into the trap of overwhelm and over-commitment many times, I’m on a mission to live life more fully and aligned. I’m a strong believer that by taking better care of ourselves, we can better show up for the many roles we play- mom, wife, friend, daughter, work/career role, volunteer, etc.

And now as a Lyme Warrior (diagnosed in August 2022), taking care of myself has become an even bigger priority. I want prioritize my health so that my family gets the best of me.

My goal with this blog is to help share tips, hacks, tools, etc that have helped - those learned in my wellness career, as a busy mom, and through my Lyme journey- in an effort to help YOU feel your best.

Whether it’s a yoga sequence to help you sleep better or a curation of favorite recipes or a review of a wellness trend or everyday self-care hacks or even just a fashion find that helps boost confident, I want to help make taking care of you easier- so that you can more joyfully step into your own roles.

A little about me… I’ve been married to my husband Philip since April 2012. We have three earthly angels- 11, 9, and 7- and one heavenly angel. Our 9-year-old son has an identical twin brother Bennett who was stillborn. 

Shortly after their birth, I got into teaching group fitness because movement was a major component of my healing journey. I then went on to gain further certifications (I loved it so much) and am now a 500 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher, NASM-certified personal trainer, Mat 1 Pilates Instructor, and Holistic Nutrition Coach with a specialty in Gut Health.
